Boys Varsity Lacrosse · NEW “FALCON” TEAM HITS THE FIELDS – SPRING (?) 2014

HFII Falcons Boy’s LaCrosse has become it’s own team after working the past few years with Utica High and the JV & Varsity Falcons took to Runkle Field on 3/20.  This while their fans worked their way around some stubborn snow drifts, a broken water line in the Ford Concession building and a COLD wind out of the west to see HFII come from behind and defeat the Titans from Stevenson in the JV game and hold on to a big lead in the Varsity game for the first two wins of the season.

In the JV game it was the Kowalski and Ross show in the goals department as Sam K. scored 3 of the teams 5 goals and Eric R. scored the remaining 2.  This while Cameron Walker faced 9 shots in goal in route to the Falcons 5-4 win.

In the Varsity contest it was Dante D’Andrea who led the team with 5 of Ford’s 8 goals supported greatly in net by John Medley who was equally solid, making 16 saves in the match as the Falcons scored 8 and held on to win 8-6 on a chilly Thursday evening.

Up next – the JV Team will be at West Bloomfield on Saturday, 3/22 at 11:00 a.m.

Then, both teams will be at L’anse Creuse – North on Tuesday, 3/25 with JV starting at 5:00 p.m. and Varsity starting at 7:00 p.m.
